New Fire Regulations - 24 October 2006
With effect from 1st October 2006, all current fire certificates at UK businesses will automatically expire when new legislation makes building or company owners, or a 'designated person' responsible for fire prevention and safety. Risk assessments of offices, shops or other premises must be carried out. Useful documents relating to this regulation can be found on www.communities.gov.uk/fire.
