Japanese request new ISO for "Industrial Furnaces and Associated Thermal Processing Equipment' - 21 February 2008
On the 28 December 2007 the Japanese Standardisation Institute (JISC) formally lodged a submission with ISO in Geneva requesting that a new ISO be created to cover
“Standardisation of the requirements for Industrial Furnaces and Associated Thermal Processing Equipment, which include heated enclosures (add heat sources) such as furnaces, ovens, kilns, lehrs and dryers, and heating equipment such as burners, heating control equipment for industrial use excluding electro heat installations”
